How The Tribe formed

When the world shifted in 2020, Emily Chapman and Kai Cant, both residents of Ibiza, foresaw the evolving nature of travel and co-founded The Tribe Travel Company. Based in Ibiza, The Tribe quickly became one of the island’s most trusted concierge and experiential brands, known for its brand collaborations, partnerships, and exceptional end-to-end travel experiences. Today, The Tribe is one of Ibiza’s most famous boat charter companies and renowned concierge services, having delivered thousands of exceptional guest experiences and brand collaborations, on land and at sea.

EMILY

Emily has a long history with the island. She first visited Ibiza in 1986 as a child then returned as a teen in 1992 when you could travel on an annual passport! She partied on the island through the 90s and 00s before making a permanent move in 2017.

Lead Captain

MARC

Lead captain Marc was born on the island in 1999. Younger brother and Captain, Victor, followed in 2001 and future captain, and baby of the family, Oscar, arrived 12 years later. The brothers have been raised on the island by Mum, Caty, and Dad, Paco.

Kai

European club promoter, Kai, lived on the island for 10 years and was responsible for bringing ABODE, HotBed and Forward Motion to Ibiza with residencies at super club, Amnesia, and the most famous day club in the world, O Beach.

The Tribe now

Kai chose to leave the business, and the island, in June 2024 to dedicate his energy to his thriving club events. His legacy as one of the UK’s most accomplished club promoters remains deeply woven into The Tribe’s DNA.

The Tribe brand and ethos emerged from Emily’s personal journey and her many years spent exploring, and partying, around the world. Since co-founding the business in 2020, she has drawn on her extensive background in media production to shape and lead its growth. Combining her diverse life experiences with deep expertise in operations and production, Emily continues to propel The Tribe forward, steering it into 2025 with a dynamic emphasis on collaboration and innovation.
